Konrad Brandel ensured himself a permanent place in the history of Polish photography as a documentalist, a precursor of medical photography, a photoreporter as well as an inventor of the handheld camera. His works offer visual evidence of the growth of Warsaw at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.


The book (available in Polish and English) has been published thanks to the cooperation of the History Meeting House and the National Museum in Warsaw.
