Please note that due to a technical failure one of the lifts in the Museum lobby, near the ticket desks, is currently out of service. As a result, access to some exhibition rooms in the Gallery of Old Masters (2nd floor, sections CULTURE OF THE COURT and RELIGION AND DEVOTION IN CHURCH AND AT HOME) will be temporarily restricted for visitors with reduced mobility and visitors with prams and pushchairs.

Until the failure has been repaired, the above-mentioned rooms of the Gallery of Old Masters will be accessible by stairs only.

The second lift, located to the right of the ticket desks, near the Information Point, remains available to visitors.

We would also like to remind visitors that the following galleries remain accessible: the Gallery of Ancient Art, the Professor Kazimierz Michałowski Faras Gallery and the Gallery of Medieval Art on the ground floor; as well as the Gallery of Polish Design on the 1st floor, the temporary exhibition Adolph Menzel (1815–1905). Tireless Observer on the 1st floor, and the remaining rooms of the Gallery of Old Masters on the 2nd floor (CITY section).

We apologise for the inconvenience and are making every effort to restore the lift to service as soon as possible.
