Due to conservation works and loaning the paintings for exhibitions in various institutions, the Matejko Room will be presented in a temporary new look starting July 16th 2018.

Be sure not to miss the sixth issue of the Journal of the NMW. The volume includes essays on the Netherlandish Codex of the Armorial of the Order of the Golden Fleece from 1577 as well as Polish and European pastels.

During a meeting held on the 1st of September 2017, the Program Council of the International Poster Biennale (IPB) approved a proposition to change the organiser of the IPB from the National Museum in Warsaw to the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
